Over the last 30 years I have been working as a Registered General Nurse, specialising in Accident and Emergency.

10 years ago, after travelling to Malaysia, I experienced first hand the benefits of reflexology. I then became interested in the advantages of complementry therapies and how they can work alongside modern medicine.

 

This led me to undertaking a diploma in Reflexology and becoming a member of the Federation Of Holistic Therapists. I subsequently set up my own reflexlogy business, which I ran part-time alongside my nursing in A & E.

 

During this time I realised the importance of maintaining healthy feet and the effect this can have on not only mobility, but general health and well being.

 

I then trained as a Foot Health Practitoner, having completed an Advanced Foot Health Practitioner Diploma through Stonebridge Associated College, where I acheived a distinction.

I am a member of the Alliance of Private Sector Practitioners, where I can be found on the Accredited Register of Foot Health Practitioners.

This is accredited and assured by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

This ensures my skills and knowledge are kept up to date through continuing professional development.
